How to Send Photos That Get You a Fast, Accurate Quote

Two photos done right can skip an entire site visit. Here's what we actually need to see.

The wide shot

Stand back and capture the whole item — the full gate in its opening, the whole trailer from the side, the machine in its spot. This tells us the size, style, material, and how it's mounted. It also tells us about access: what we can park next to and what we'll be working around.

The close-up

Get within arm's reach of the damage and shoot it square-on in good light. For cracks, include a few inches of material on both sides. For rust, show the worst spot, not the average one — we price to the worst case so the quote holds.

What else helps

A coin or tape measure in the close-up gives us scale. The trailer's VIN plate tells us the frame spec. A photo of the break from a second angle catches what the first one hides. And if something is still moving — a gate that swings, a part that flexes — a 10-second video is worth five photos.

Then what

Text it all to us with your address and what happened. You'll get a straight price back, usually within the hour during business hours, and a repair window that works for you.
