What to Expect From a Mobile Welding Repair Visit

No shop drop-offs, no 'we'll call you.' Here's exactly how an on-site welding repair works from first text to finished weld.

Step one: the photos

Text us two photos — one wide shot of the whole item, one close-up of the damage — plus a sentence about what happened. From that we can quote most residential repairs on the spot, typically within the hour during business hours. If we need to see it in person first, we'll say so and tell you why.

Step two: the price, in writing

Before anything starts, you get the price in writing. We work flat-rate per repair, not by the hour — a cracked hinge doesn't become a surprise invoice because it fought back. The only exception is the emergency callout, which is quoted as a range on the phone and confirmed on arrival.

Step three: the visit

Our truck carries welders for steel, aluminum, and stainless, plus grinders, plate stock, and hardware. We need reasonable access to the work and a spot to park the rig. Most repairs take one to three hours. You don't need to be present the whole time, but we like to walk you through the finished weld before we leave.

After the weld

Every repair carries our workmanship warranty. If we get on-site and find the item genuinely isn't repairable, you don't pay for a repair that didn't happen — only the trip fee applies, and we'll tell you what we'd do instead.
